F1 remains Nico Hülkenberg's priority

Nico Hulkenberg is certainly experiencing the busiest month of its season. Present this weekend at the Canadian GP, the German took part last week in the Test Day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on the 919 Hybrid n°19 alongside Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber and prepares for the following weekend his first start at the Sarthe double clock tower.

His interest inEndurance was enough to spark speculation regarding his future. “I have a really busy month with Montreal this weekend, 24 Hours of Le Mans the following weekend, and the Austrian GP thereafter (on the 21st », recalled the Force India driver on the official website of the discipline. “I’m not going to have time to think about anything else. The transfer season is still far away. We are waiting for developments for Silverstone at the moment, hoping to have a good second half of the season. Good results are the best argument for hiring. »

The Force India driver, who was at one point expected at Ferrari, is having a difficult season with his VJM09 lacking performance. “One thing is certain: I am always focused on F1. I would like to ride there for a few more seasons. If Vijay (Mallya, the team owner) wants to keep his crew, it’s a positive point for the drivers”, added the German.
