A British sport par excellence and quintessentially, Formula 1 pays tribute this Friday, September 8 to Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96 after a reign of 70 years.

F1 has already confirmed that a minute's silence will be organized on Friday at Monza shortly before Free Practice 1. Another tribute should be paid to the queen on race day.
We will remember that in April 2021, the Emilia-Romagna GP program was slightly modified due to the funeral of Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II who died at the age of 99.
During her long reign, Her Majesty Elizabeth II knighted four Formula 1 drivers, all world champions: Sir Jack Brabham, Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, and Sir Lewis Hamilton.
