F1 comes to the aid of Australia

The terrible fires that ravaged Australia did not leave the F1 indifferent. The organizers of the championship have therefore set up an auction which will take place from this Wednesday on the official F1 website. The profits will be donated to several associations: the Australian Red Cross, the Country Fire Authority Victoria, the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the WWF Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund.

The auctions will offer exclusive items including gloves and shoes used by Daniel Ricciardo during his first Grand Prix with Renault (last year in Melbourne), the helmet that Kevin Magnussen will use at the next Australian GP or the 2019 drivers' combinations Red Bull Max Verstappen et Alexander albon, Romain Grosjean and Daniil Kvyat.

Those interested will also be able to treat themselves to a meeting with numerous drivers in the Australian GP paddock and visits to the Renault factories and McLaren.

Australia will host the 2020 season opener at the Albert Park circuit on March 15.
