The FIA works on overtaking

From survey to survey, the FIA faces the same demands from fans of F1 : we need more overtaking!

To respond to these complaints, several elements have already been implemented to reduce the aerodynamic grip of single-seaters and encourage attacks. Next year, with the ban on refueling and narrower front tires, the Federation hopes to see even more competitive races.

FIA technical experts met circuit architects, technical directors accompanied by engineers and former drivers from different major championships to share the fruits of their work and imagine solutions for the future.

A full report will be released soon and will be widely distributed for further research.

According to grandprix.com, former drivers Michael Schumacher, Gil de Ferran, the technical director of Williams F1 Sam Michael and circuit designers Hermann Tilke and Clive Bowen were in attendance.
