FIA to take dissidents to court
War is declared. Max Mosley has decided to sue the members of FOTA. The president of the International Automobile Federation announced in a press release that he would file a lawsuit as soon as possible.
« FIA lawyers have examined FOTA's threat to create a parallel championship. The actions of FOTA as a whole, and that of Ferrari in particular, represent a series of serious violations of laws, including deliberate interference with contractual relations, direct breaches of Ferrari's legal obligations and a serious violation of competition rules ", Reads the statement.
As a result, the FIA has decided to wait for the outcome of the legal action before publishing the list of new entrants for next season.
