After several months of exclusion, the teams Williams and Force India have therefore rejoined the association of teams of F1 (FOTA). The two entities were excluded after submitting their candidacy for the 2010 World Championship at a time when the other teams were trying to influence the FIA ​​on the issue of the new rules.

FOTA, led by Luca di Montezemolo, also reiterated its invitation for incoming teams (Campos, Manor and USF1) to join the ranks of the organization. “ The Executive Committee looks forward to welcoming new entrants to the association as they continue to prepare for next season. »

Furthermore, FOTA indicated that it would enter into discussions with Bernie Ecclestone so that the future of the discipline is assured beyond 2012. It also wishes to discuss with F1 stakeholders to improve the spectacle of the discipline. .
