The FW38 a source of satisfaction for Williams

Returning to the forefront after a major “clean sweep” in its workforce during the 2014-2015 offseason, the Team Ferrari was the best opposition to the Mercedes W06 Hybrid Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg last year.

A #1 challenger costume that Williams hopes to return in 2016, after having been less visible during the last campaign, despite some highlights like at the start of the race at Silverstone where the FW37s rose to the forefront. Pat Symonds, technical manager of Frank Williams' team, therefore hopes that the new features on the future FW38 will bear fruit.

“I still want to believe we can beat Mercedes,
says Symonds Reuters. I'm not an optimistic person, but I know the improvements to the car are better than what we did last year.

I must say that I am rather satisfied with the progress on paper made with the new car. » Progress to be confirmed on track from February 22, the date of the start of pre-season testing on the Catalan track in Barcelona.

Williams Martini Racing, which has renewed its confidence in Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa this year, will also present his FW38 adorned with its 2016 livery on the same day.
