Lando Norris succeeded where 20 drivers had been struggling since Melbourne: ending the dominance of Mercedes Benz In qualifying, the Briton secured pole position for the Miami Grand Prix sprint race, dominating SQ3 by a wide margin, finishing 0.222 seconds ahead of Kimi Antonelli. The Italian will join him on the front row and will be looking to achieve what he missed last year: winning the sprint race from a front-row start.

Behind them, the second row will consist of the second McLaren, that ofOscar piastri, in front, there Classic Ferrari for sale de Charles LeclercThe Monegasque driver was undoubtedly aiming for a slightly better position, but a small mistake in his only SQ3 attempt cost him the front row, or even pole position.
In the third line, Max Verstappen and Red Bull will start alongside the Mercedes bearing the number 63, with George Russell at the wheel. The Australian Grand Prix winner was somewhat off the pace in qualifying, struggling to put everything in order to deliver a competitive lap time. His formidable W17 could, however, help him move up the order, even if the car German football doesn't seem as dominant in Florida as it has been since the start of the season…
As for AlpineThe pleasant surprise came from Franco Colapinto. Boosted by the support of 600,000 fans who came to see him during his roadshow in Buenos Aires at the end of April, the Argentinian dominated Pierre Gasly to position himself in the fourth row, just behind a discreet Lewis Hamilton, only 7th.
For his part, Pierre Gasly will start 10th, behind another Frenchman, Isack Hadjar. It was, however, much more difficult for Esteban Ocon, the third Frenchman on the grid, who will start 17th after Alex's penalty Albon (relegated from 14th to 19th place), ahead of the Cadillacs and the Aston Martin as well as Thai.
The sprint race will be available to follow from 18pm, Paris time.
