The starting grid for the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix Sprint Race

The penultimate meeting of the season, the Qatar Grand Prix hosts the sixth Sprint of the 2024 season. This event, of around 100km, will take place from 15 p.m. French time and will see Lando Norris start from the first position, in front of the Mercedes by George Russell. Winner of the Las Vegas Grand Prix last week, the Silver Arrow driver would like to continue in the same vein.

Oscar piastri et Carlos Sainz will share the second line, in front Charles Leclerc. McLaren et Ferrari are engaged in a fierce fight for the Constructors' title, every point will count. For Max Verstappen, sixth on the grid, the essential is already acquired, since he won in Nevada his fourth consecutive world champion title of Formula 1.

Lewis Hamilton et Pierre Gasly will start in the fourth line, in front Nico Hulkenberg and Liam Lawson. Fernando Alonso will start eleventh in front Alexander albon. Valtteri Bottas achieved a great performance this Friday with the thirteenth fastest time, ahead of theAston Martin de Lance stroll. Kevin Magnusen beat Sergio Perez, who was once again eliminated in the first part of qualifying. The Mexican will finally start from the pit lane, allowing Yuki tsunoda, Esteban Ocon et Guanyu-Zhou to gain a place on the grid. Perez will be joined in the pitlane by Franco Colapinto.
