It is in the Saudi night of Jeddah that the second meeting of the season will take place. Formula 1, the Saudi Arabian GP. Sergio Pérez took pole position on Saturday during qualifying, his second in F1 and his second in a row on the Jeddah circuit. The Mexican will share the first line with the eternal Fernando Alonso, who took advantage of the penalty of Charles Leclerc to climb to 2nd place on the grid.

The Monegasque, penalized by 10 places for the use of a third electronic control box, will start from 3th place and will have to make a fantastic comeback to hope for the podium. Same objective for Max Verstappen, only 15th during qualifying. The reigning double world champion suffered a mechanical failure in Q2 and was forced to start from the 8th row in Jeddah.

Behind Pérez and Alonso, George Russell and Carlos Sainz are in ambush to aim for a first podium this season. But watch out for the second Aston Martin de Lance stroll and both Alpine, rather fast on the racing pace. Esteban Ocon will start from 6th place, Pierre Gasly will start in 9th place.

The start of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be at 18:00 p.m. (French time) and will be followed in live text on AUTOhebdo.

Hot for Leclerc and Verstappen in the middle of the peloton, watch out for the damage in the first corner even if there is clearance!
