The starting grid for the US GP

The starting grid for the US GP held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin (Texas) is now known.

Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) will start on pole in front Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), while Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) will be on the second row in front Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes). The Briton will only need an 8th place (or a 9th position with the fastest lap in the race) to win his 6th title.

Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) will start from 10th row while Romain Grosjean (Haas) will be 15th on the grid.

Sergio Pérez (Racing Point) will leave the stands after being penalized for missing the weigh-in during free practice.
