A first 100% Orange line on Italian soil! Saturday, Lando Norris took a third pole position in 2024, leading an extremely dense and tight pack at the front. He will start ahead of his teammate Oscar piastri for a first line McLaren on this 2024 Italian GP. Be careful at the start for the British poleman, however, since, let's remember, Lando Norris has never led at the first corner after starting from pole position!

The fight for victory promises to be exceptional with the four leading teams in the first eight places and with very small gaps in qualifying. George Russell took advantage of a nice slipstream offered – without wanting to – by Max Verstappen to secure 3rd place on the grid, ahead of the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc et Carlos Sainz. The pilots of the Team, disappointed not to have secured a third consecutive pole position at Monza, will be keen to offer the tifosi a place on the podium... or even a victory which has eluded them since 2019.

The second Mercedes, that of Lewis Hamilton, will start from 6th place ahead of the two Red Bull. Max Verstappen posted his worst qualifying since the Miami Grand Prix with a 7th place in Q3 on Saturday. For once, Sergio Perez managed to match his teammate's times and will start alongside him on the fourth row. The Top 10 is completed by a Alexander albon very fast in a straight line and which could cause problems for opponents to overtake him, and by Nico HulkenbergOn the French side, both Alpine managed to sneak into Q2 on Saturday and will start in 14th and 15th place, with Pierre Gasly before Esteban Ocon.
