The starting grid for the Brazilian GP

As often in F1, qualifying results differ from the starting grid due to penalties imposed.

This is again the case this weekend at the Brazilian GP with Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) downgraded 5 places for a turbo change following the extinguishing of an outbreak of fire during the last Mexican Grand Prix. The Australian will start from 11th place after setting the 6th fastest time in Q3.

Esteban Ocon (Force India) will suffer the same sanction and will have to start from 18th place after achieving the 12th time in Q2.

The first row of the grid will be well formed by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari). The Briton was suspected of being at fault when Sergey Sirotkin (Williams) narrowly avoided it, but it was ultimately the four-time world champion who was the most worried after he did not properly follow weigh-in procedures.

The start of the Brazilian GP will be at 18:10 p.m. French time. The race will be followed live on Canal+ Sport and with our live text.
