The starting grid for the 2019 German Grand Prix

The 2019 edition of the German Grand Prix will undoubtedly be hosted by Ferrari. Indeed, starting from 10th place and the last row, Charles Leclerc et Sebastian Vettel will have the priority mission of moving up the hierarchy, taking an example from the feat of Lewis Hamilton in 2018 at Hockenheim. Starting 14th, the Englishman won.

The Mercedes leader will start from pole position at 15:10 p.m. He should be wary of Max Verstappen (Red Bull), author of the best performance for a Honda engine in testing since the return of the Japanese engine manufacturer to F1 in 2015.

The fight for places of honor should be interesting to follow with the reunion of former Lotus teammates on the third row, Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo, 5th) and Romain Grosjean (Haas, 6th). The first one Renault, that of Nico Hulkenberg, will start from 9th row.

Finally, the appearance of the last line has not yet been decided. Sebastian Vettel is not expected to occupy the 20th and final position on the grid. This privilege should go to Lando Norris (McLaren), the Briton replacing the battery of his mount this Sunday morning. Other items can be changed.
