The starting grid for the Italian Grand Prix

Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) will start from pole position during the Italian Grand Prix on the lands of the Team Sunday at 15:10 p.m. The Finn had not been in such a position since the Monaco Grand Prix in May 2017.

He will have his teammate at his side Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and will have to be wary of the German in the race towards the first braking. We will find on the second line the pair of Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton before Valtteri Bottas.

The first Frenchman on the grid will be Romain Grosjean (Haas), sixth. He will lead the fight for fourth place in the Manufacturers' standings because Carlos Sainz Jr (Renault) and Esteban Ocon (Racing Point Force India) are just behind. Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) dominated his teammate Brendon Hartley with the ninth beat.

As is customary in this sport, various penalties changed the appearance of the starting grid. After changing the engine unit on its Red Bull, Daniel Ricciardo, was relegated to the back of the grid to benefit from the new version of the block sent by Renault engineers.

At Renault precisely, Nico Hülkenberg will also be on the last line due to part changes on his engine, but also his sanction relating to his collision at the start of the Belgian Grand Prix last week.

Finally, Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) replaced his chassis following his spectacular crash during free practice on Friday and will start 18th. A not really appropriate gift for his 28th birthday this Sunday!

The Italian Grand Prix will start at 15:10 p.m. and can be followed on our site with live text.
