For the sixth time in the last six editions of the Chinese Grand Prix, a different poleman will start from pole position on the grid this Sunday. After Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Valtteri Bottas and more recently Max Verstappen is Oscar piastri who will lead the peloton.
The Australian secured his first career pole position this Saturday. In a tight Q3 finale, he was one of the few to improve, and fortunately, he did so, as George Russell finished just 82 seconds behind. On pole and victorious in Australia last weekend, Lando Norris remains a contender for victory at the Chinese Grand Prix. The Englishman, who did not complete his last attempt, will start 3rd, just ahead of Max Verstappen.
Winner of the Sprint a few hours earlier, from which he started from pole position, Lewis Hamilton could not do better than 5th this time, still ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc, 6rd.
On the French side, Isack Hadjar was the best representative. In Q3 for his second race weekend, the Parisian had a very good qualifying session, systematically dominating Yuki tsunoda, 9th, before finishing 7th ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Alex Albon completed the Top 10.
In the hard in Australia, Esteban Ocon has regained his performance in China. The Norman qualified in Q2 and finished just outside Q3. Quite the opposite of Pierre Gasly, eliminated in Q1 and only 16th on the starting grid of the Chinese Grand Prix.
The Chinese Grand Prix is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. this Sunday.

With both McLarens on the racing line, the papaya duo will be able to do battle with Verstappen in the front row! Who will manage their tires best and what level of performance with the hard ones? Looking forward to tomorrow morning

The battle at McLaren is only just beginning. But it's Verstappen who could pull the chestnuts out of the fire in this game. Russell at Mercedes has perfectly assumed the leadership role, and Antonelli is very solid, and definitely very promising. Hadjar performed superbly, and at Sauber, we must appreciate having a track mercenary of Hulkenberg's caliber.
