Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes suffered

The FIA has published the list of elements that were replaced on Lewis Hamilton's car, damaged by a fire yesterday in qualifying.

Bad luck continues Lewis Hamilton in the summer of 2014. After his brakes in Germany, a fire largely damaged the elements of the Power Unit of the W05 Hybrid of the 2008 World Champion yesterday in qualifying. The FIA also published this morning the list of elements which had been changed between yesterday afternoon and this Sunday. Turbo, MGU-H, MGU-K, survival cell, thermal engine and gearbox, were replaced under Parc Fermé regime by the team Mercedes.

The Briton will nevertheless start from the pit lane, just like Kevin Magnussen, victim of a track exit yesterday in qualifying, and whose chassis of the MP4-29 was changed.
