Peace between Red Bull drivers?

The stable Red Bull wanted to display an idyllic image at the start of the season: car efficient, smiling drivers? It was not until the clash between the two teammates at the Turkish GP that the truth came to light. The Red Bull pilots were above all adversaries and did not intend to do each other any favors.

?I think it?s inevitable when you have two teammates who are fighting against each other?, commented the Australian on the BBC. “People need to understand that it only happens every 10 or 15 years. You often have opponents fighting for a title, but having them on the same team is unusual. »

However, Mark Webber assures that relations between the two competitors have improved since the end of the season. “Our relations are good now,” he assured. “It was good to have discussed it at the end of the year and to have put aside some small incidents that had happened. It was difficult to talk to each other in the middle of the season but we will have more time in winter to build our season and do our work without any tension. »

If Mark Webber seems calm, there is no doubt that certain unfortunate images from 2010 will come back to mind during next season. The two teammates will have to ignore their competition to ensure their results. Especially since the best driver could be favored following the withdrawal of the ban on team instructions.
