The first victory for Ferrari!

A race not contested on the Sakhir route but in the corridors of Bahrain airport, in Manama, around thirty kilometers further north.
If the race, the real one, only takes place in five days, the teams have started arriving on the island-kingdom since Sunday.

As a result, crossing the finish line, or rather customs, was played out neck and neck on Sunday afternoon between Ferrari and Red-Bull. Like the winter tests, it is the men of Maranello who triumphed over customs formalities and the recovery of red suitcases flanked by a prancing horse on the airport conveyor belt. Second a stone's throw away, Red Bull apparently couldn't do anything! The podium is completed by Mclaren, freshly arrived from Woking yesterday and therefore already behind in this first “round”!

On the drivers' side, the internal struggle is already raging between the two Ferrari owners, Fernando Alonso ahead of his teammate Félipe Massa by two hours at the airport yesterday afternoon...
