Scuderia Ferrari presents the SF16-H

Scuderia Ferrari presented to Maranello the SF16-H, the car Italian of the 2016 season that Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen will drive this year. The car was notably reworked on the tie-rod suspension and sidepods in order to improve the cooling of the Power Unit.

Both the nose and the length of the car have also been shortened with the Prancing Horse's efforts to make its Power Unit more compact. The Italian 6l turbo/hybrid V1.6 will also have better thermal combustion thanks to improvements made to the intake and turbo.

“It’s a nice car that should help us progress.”, commented Sebastian Vettel who seems delighted with the new livery offering a touch of white reminiscent of the 312-T entered in 1975. “It aligns with our goals. Last season was a good year, but we want more. We finished 2nd and we want to do better from now on. »

“I don’t have any specific goals in mind. We always want to progress. We have to attack a little harder this year and hope we can fight for the title until the end. It will not be easy because our adversaries are not resting on their laurels”, added Maurizio Arrivabene, Ferrari president.
