“We really had a difficult two days until qualifying. I was only able to complete one real lap during the first session and I made a mistake in the second. We were unable to carry out our program successfully,” explains the German.

Still hampered by a brake problem during the third free practice session, Sebastian Vettel nevertheless found good sensations this afternoon: “I was surprised by my feeling despite all the changes to the regulations. This morning, I was afraid of not getting into Q2 and I found myself in third place! »

The youngest winner of a Grand Prix, Vettel is firstly aiming for points for tomorrow: “We have to keep our feet on the ground. We are first behind Brawn. It's a good start but the season is long. Points are the first objective for the race. »
