Last week, the Brazilian television channel Globo announced that Nelson Piquet Jr. had received the order to put his car during the 14th round of the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.

This accident caused the safety car to come out, thus allowing Fernando Alonso ? who had just resupplied? to gain precious seconds by going from twelfth to fifth then to win at the end of the 61 laps of the race.

This revelation would be the consequence of the dismissal of Nelson Piquet Jr during the month of August. Since the departure of the Brazilian, the rumor has been growing. Globo assured that it had enough consistent information to be able to disclose this matter.

Informed, the International Automobile Federation opened an investigation to find out the precise reasons for the incident and to rule on its possible voluntary and premeditated nature.

On the side of Renault, Flavio Briatore has a hard time hiding his irritation at this new affair.
