And a first F1 2023 on the track! The only team to have actually presented its car for the 2023 season, the C43, unlike Haas ou Williams, Alfa Romeo has set up its base camp near Barcelona. On today's menu, the first ride of the year for the new car from the Italian team with Valtteri Bottas at the baguette this Friday morning.

After lifting the veil on the C43 in its workshops at the start of the week, Alfa Romeo headed to Catalonia for the Shakedown of its new vehicle. As a reminder, this debugging has certain constraints since the team cannot carry out tests freely. In fact, the regulations stipulate that this type of driving cannot exceed 100 kilometers. This short session will allow Alfa Romeo to check that all procedures are working perfectly.

Note that the teams also take advantage of these famous Shakedowns for advertising purposes. It would not be surprising if Alfa Romeo shot promotional images on the Barcelona track in addition to the first technical checks.
