The British driver put in an impressive performance to set the second fastest time, just 48 thousandths from pole position. Currently fourth in the drivers' championship, Lando Norris will start from the front row tomorrow, a first in his career.

“It was a cool ride. After last weekend, I wanted to do even better, Norris admits. It's good to be second, it's probably the best lap I've done in my career. This bodes well for tomorrow. The feeling with the car is perfect, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. The strategy is similar with our competitors since we will start with medium tires so that is positive.”
