Lando Norris vs. Max Verstappen: The Hunter's Night in Singapore

Lando Norris has stepped into the limelight and continues his hunt in the Singaporean heat. Max Verstappen has emerged from the twilight and limits his losses in the Drivers' Championship, but he can't stop Red Bull from grinding it out in the Constructors'. McLaren's sparkling weekend is in the spotlight.

Lando Norris vs. Max Verstappen: The Hunter's Night in Singapore

Dazzling! Lando Norris shone brightly in the city-state, where he shone all the spotlights on himself, leaving only a few lanterns to illuminate an opposition incapable of shining. Except for Max Verstappen, not one who has not managed to see the light at the end of the night. Gagged but not hindered, the Dutchman has drawn on his moral batteries to compensate for the shortcomings of an RB19 while waiting for developments allowing him to turn the light back on.

He was once again very alone at RBR, Sergio Perez having returned to the shadows as quickly as he had emerged from them in Baku. So, on the podium, surrounded by Lando Norris and Oscar piastri, Max could well shine. Only conceding 7 points to the Briton at the end of a weekend where the electricity fairy had only had McLaren, was almost a miracle, especially since she had not been the only one to dispense her blessings. There had also been the fairy "baraka" for Norris, the one who allows you to caress the walls without being punished by a puncture or who makes sure that a failed braking does not end up with your nose in the Tecpro!

Yet it would have taken just one time for the spearhead from Woking to see his fine lead melt away in the heat of the night or, worse still, for the light to go out for good. It was not to be. A race without a Safety Car... Latifi and Sargeant are no longer there to crash and Il Magnifico Flavia aka "the King of Cheaters" has not achieved anything with the Alpine !
