The Ariel Atom Cup comes to the Race of Champions

The Ariel Atom Cup will complete the list of cars for the next Race of Champions contested on December 14 and 15 at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok. This two-seater built in Great Britain offers exceptional lightness which should provide a great challenge to pilots. This car will offer similar features to the KTM X-Bow which will still be operated, as will the Ausi R8 LMS ultra, the Euro Nascar, la Volkswagen Scirocco Cup, la Toyota GT86 ou encore la Roc Car.

“We already have a wide range of cars, but we are always looking for new ones and we are very interested in the Ariel Atom.”, comments Fredrik Johnsson, the organizer of the race. “It’s a car that is free to drive and drives like a real racing car. The structure allows you to see the pilot's arms and legs much better when he is in action. In addition, this two-seater will allow very lucky passengers to be alongside our heroes. »

For the moment, the list of drivers entered for the Race of Champions includes Michael Schumacher, Tom Kristensen, Sébastien Ogier, Narain Karthikeyan, Karun Chandhok and Jamie Whincup.
