Lauda gives his news: “I will be back soon”

One month after leaving hospital care and found his home, Niki Lauda made his first public appearance on Saturday morning. The Twitter account of Mercedes-AMG released a video in which the three-time world champion of Formula 1 congratulates his team and thanks the team members and fans for the support shown in recent months.

“This year’s success (is) amazing. Five championships in a row, Lewis once again, Bottas in the right place, we couldn't have done a better job", he is satisfied. 

The 1-year-old non-executive director of Mercedes in F69 had been admitted urgently at the beginning of August “in critical condition” for inflammation of the pulmonary alveoli which was accompanied by bleeding of the lung tissues and in the respiratory system.
