After the great technical revolution of 2022, the Formula 1 will soon experience its second season with the “new generation” single-seaters. In 2023, it will be more about confirmation (or redemption) than discovery. During the previous year, each team had to deal with a car with a new configuration, very different from those used in previous seasons.
Next year, all teams should refine their skills and erase some of their flaws with a first year of experience under their belt. Like every winter, during the off-season period, the stables provide information here and there on their next mount including, in particular, the presentation date of their car 2023.
The teams should unveil their 2023 car in February, a few days before the first winter tests. The Sakhir track, which will open the season a few days later (March 3 to 5), will host F1 for three days of pre-season testing from February 23 to 25. Unlike 2022, the 2023 campaign will only feature one round of testing, leaving Barcelona in the lurch.
