The provisional 2014 F1 calendar with 22 GPs

Despite complaints from teams, the FIA ​​World Council has validated a provisional calendar of 22 Grands Prix for the 2014 season. F1, which would constitute the busiest year in the history of the discipline. The season will begin on March 16 with Melbourne and conclude on November 30 at Interlagos. The New Jersey Grand Prix is ​​scheduled for June 1 and finds itself in the middle of a series of three consecutive races contested in three weeks with the Monaco GP and the Canadian GP. The Mexican Grand Prix would be the penultimate round of the season contested on November 16, a week after Austin. The South Korean GP remains on the program but remains under provisional status with the two new American meetings.

The World Council also confirmed the presence of Pirelli next season.
