The Hanoi circuit will ultimately have 23 turns

The organizers of the Vietnamese Grand Prix, held from April 3 to 5 in the streets of Hanoi, unveiled this Wednesday a route modified in its final portion to include a 23rd turn.

The area after the 21st turn has been reworked compared to the original version, to integrate a left curve with a rather tight radius (the new 22nd turn), then a second left curve conditioning the long straight from the pits.

The track was also widened by 15 m in this final portion with the undisguised aim of encouraging overtaking as much as possible. The length of the circuit is now set at 5,607 km compared to 5,565 in the first version.
