Mercedes has tended to pay a final tribute to Lewis Hamilton who leaves the house 11 years after his arrival.

Mercedes' final tribute to Lewis Hamilton

Farewell Tour. This is what this last week looked like for Lewis Hamilton after having competed in his last Grand Prix under the colours of Mercedes in Abu Dhabi on December 8.

There was a stopover in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), on the sidelines of a commercial operation, another in Stuttgart at the Mercedes headquarters and finally two last ones and not the least since Sir Lewis went to Brixworth, the engine factory of the Star, and Brackley, where the single-seaters of the team are developed.

A final meeting between Lewis Hamilton and all the Mercedes staff before he definitively swaps silver for red. For the occasion, the team brought out some notable cars from his time there, such as the W11 with which he won his 7th championship title and even the McLaren MP4-23 with which he was crowned for the first time in 2008. In addition to a ceremony during which the person concerned spoke in front of all the employees.
