The Austrian Grand Prix on the calendar until 2027

Spielberg will be one of the theaters of the Formula 1 until 2027, the premier category of motorsport having signed a four-year contract extension with the route of the Austrian Grand Prix. THE Red Bull Ring returned to the premier category world championship calendar in 2014. This extension therefore celebrates the 10th anniversary of the return of the event to the course of the 20 drivers and 10 teams of the discipline.

For the second year in a row, the Red Bull Ring will host the alternative format of a race weekend with Sprint Qualifying. The classic qualifications will therefore take place on Friday, the sprint on Saturday which will determine the starting grid for the race on Sunday.

And the appointment is given from June 30 to July 2 on the circuit where Charles Leclerc won last year, ahead of Max Verstappen et Lewis Hamilton.
