Officially added to the 2022 F1 calendar since last spring, the Miami Grand Prix knows the official dates of the first edition in its history. It is scheduled for May 8 on a 5,41 kilometer track which contains 19 turns and 3 straights located around Hard Rock Stadium. With the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin (Texas) since 2012, the United States now has two dates in the same season on its soil, a first since 1984 when F1 went to Dallas and Detroit in the same year. After Florida, Riverside (California), Watkins Glen (New York), Long Beach (California), Detroit (Michigan), Dallas (Texas), Phoenix (Arizona), Indianapolis (Indiana) and therefore Austin (Texas), the route of Miami will therefore be the eleventh to host a Grand Prix of Formula 1 in the history of Uncle Sam's country.
