The Monegasque government authorizes spectators from outside the Principality to attend the Grand Prix, upon presentation of a PCR test less than 72 hours old.

The 2021 Monaco Grand Prix opens to the public

In the wake of Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix which announces the arrival of the “socios” in the stands (May 7-9), it is the turn of those responsible for the Monaco Grand Prix to allow the public on the occasion of the 72 edition (May 20-23).

Alors que le historic meeting was reserved for Monegasque residents and workers, entry conditions will be reduced for the modern Grand Prix. Indeed, people from outside Monaco will be able to attend the GP, provided they present a PCR test less than 72 hours old in order to access the stands.

Furthermore, Monegasques, residents, employees, schoolchildren and students of the Principality will not have to provide such a document in order to enjoy the festivities.

Urban artist on Thursday May 20, Saturday May 22 and Sunday May 23, the maximum capacity of the stands has been lowered to 40% to avoid mixing of populations. Thus, only 7 spectators will be able to sit in the stands. This number drops to 500 on the occasion of Friday May 21, where only the stands K (between the Tobacco Office bend and the entrance to the Swimming Pool) and T (exit from the swimming pool, opposite the stands) will be open.

On the other hand, access to these two stands will be free on Friday and the controllers will not ask the public for a PCR test.
