The concern that hovered over the holding of the 2016 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas disappeared this Wednesday. Bobby Epstein, general manager of the Circuit of The Americas, confirmed that the Texan event would take place from October 21 to 23.
After a 2015 edition marked by disastrous weather following the consequences of Hurricane Patricia, and the resulting drop in attendance, the organizers also had to face a reduction in subsidies of around 20%.
The COTA track also hosts a round of the World ChampionshipEndurance and Moto GP.
