Preparations for the first Vietnamese Grand Prix in history are well underway.
The promoter of the event announced this Thursday that the construction of the stand building has been completed. Extending over 300 meters and rising over 3 floors, the infrastructure will house, among other things, the stable garages and will overlook the start/finish grid of the new urban circuit, 5,607 km long and made up of 23 turns, the work of the essential Hermann Tilke.
« This is an important moment in the development of the Hanoi Circuit and a major step on the road to the first Vietnam Grand Prix, said Ms. Le Ngoc Chi, CEO of promoter Vietnam Grand Prix Corporation. Just like the Thang Long Imperial Citadel and the Literature Constellation Pavilion, we hope that the building will become one of the symbols of the city ».
Delighted to confirm completion of the Hanoi Circuit Pit Building – a 300m long, 3-story structure overlooking the starting grid. It's design is inspired by Hanoi's Imperial Citadel of Thang Long & Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature – the symbol of Hanoi. #VietnamGP pic.twitter.com/0UOM6VYRKq

The building is also inspired by these two emblematic monuments of the Vietnamese capital. The organizers also announce that the route will be completed at the end of January, a little more than 2 months before the first arrival of F1 in the region (April 3-5).
