FIA Bianchi crash investigation group

After holding a first press conference in Sochi (Russia) to provide the first information on Jules Bianchi's accident at the Japanese Grand Prix, the FIA ​​presented the members of its working group in charge of studying in detail the circumstances that led to such a tragedy, with the aim of establishing solutions to strengthen security and establishing possible restanbilities. These recommendations will be submitted to Jean Todt, the President of the Federation.

This working group will get to work this week before presenting its conclusions to the next FIA World Council on December 3 in Doha (Qatar). This is Peter Wright, the President of the Security Commission at the Federation, who will lead this group of around ten people.

Ross Brawn, the former Team Principal of Mercedes F1 and Brawn GP and former technical director of the Team Ferrari, is the first named.
The British engineer will reunite with Stefano Domenicali, the last Team Principal of the Scuderia recently replaced by Marco Mattiacci.
Emerson Fittipaldi will also be present as President of the FIA ​​Drivers Commission.
Gérard Saillant will join the group as President of the FIA ​​Institute and President of the Medical Commission, after having notably traveled to Yokkaichi (Japan) where Jules Bianchi is hospitalized.
Alex Wurz will be present as President of the GPDA (Grand Prix Drivers Association).
Gerd Ennser was called as a representative of the commissioners.
Eduardo de Freitas was also nominated for his role as race director in WEC.
Roger Peart will also be called as Chairman of the Circuits Commission.
Antonio Rigozzi will complete the list as a lawyer and judge of the FIA ​​International Court of Appeal.
