The Hungaroring refuses Sebastian Vettel

Considering the first half of the season, a victory for Sebastian Vettel in Hungary seems very complicated. The only success that escaped the Mercedes W05 Hybrid by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton in Canada fell into the hands of his teammate Daniel Ricciardo who dominates the four-time world champion. For the last event before the summer break, the German from Red Bull hopes to go on vacation with duty fulfilled.

“I have good memories here in Budapest, although I never established myself here. In fact, it’s still on my list of things to do. It is a fairly slow track, narrow and winding, but also very bumpy, which should not be underestimated. We will have to work hard to be at the front and get a good result before the break. » explains the driver of the RB10 flanked by number 1.

The Hungaroring is the only circuit besides Hockenheim (and before Russia) where the Red Bull protégé has never won. Sebastian Vettel's best result in Hungary remains a 2nd place in 2011 behind the McLaren-Mercedes by Jenson Button.
