The F1 2019 game is coming

Codemasters launched the edition of its official video game two months earlier than usual. F1. Soberly titled F1 2019, this new opus offers traditional content with the drivers, teams, circuits, races... of the current season.

The developers went further for the 2019 edition by offering players the opportunity to also play the 2018 season of F2. The current season version will be available for free download later this year.

The British studios have also put the accident on history with 18 legendary cars from the 1970s to 2010. The garage will include the Lotus 72D from 1972, the McLaren MP4/4 from 1988, the Williams FW18 from 1996 or even the Red Bull RB6 from 2010. Purists will be able to have in the Legends edition of the McLaren MP4/5BAlain Prost by Ayrton Senna from 1990.

Multiplayer will give pride of place to artistic talents since players will be able to configure the livery of their F1 before competing online.

“The additional time allocated to development allowed the team to improve different features and add several others, explains Lee Mather, the director of the F1 2019 game. The addition of F2, with its own rules and unique race weekends, will give fans a whole new experience. We're particularly proud of the graphical improvements made to tracks like Monaco and Bahrain, particularly the new lighting effects. »

F1 2019 will be available from June 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Legends Edition now offers access to the game.
