EA Sports has detailed the new features and game modes available in the next installment of the franchise, F1 22, which will be released on July 1.

The F1 22 game reveals a little more

Fans are looking forward to it. The next video game F1 22 will be released in a few weeks, on July 1st exactly. In the meantime, EA Sports unveiled a video on Tuesday to detail the new features and changes in game modes.

Among the new features, the introduction of new game physics thanks to the 2022 single-seaters, which are heavier and operate with ground effect. The F1 22 game has adapted to the new regulations to offer realistic driving with respect to the new Formula 1 cars.

Another new feature: a display in “immersive broadcast”, or immersive broadcast in French. This option will allow players to experience the pit stops, safety car or formation lap phases with two possibilities. The player will be able to use a completely manual mode, including placement on the starting grid or entry into the pit location. The other option is to have cutscenes that reproduce a television broadcast with the graphics found during the Grands Prix.

For the first time, virtual reality will be offered, compatible with several VR headsets. EA Sports will also introduce a new mode, F1 Life, a virtual world where the player can create and customize their own character, choose the decoration of their apartment but above all, drive different supercars. McLaren, Aston Martin, Mercedes : several road cars will be available in the game.

F1 22 will also get up to date, with the arrival of sprint races or the update of the circuits in Spain, Australia and Abu Dhabi, in addition to the Miami circuit. The mode MyTeam, which allows players to create their own stable, will be explored further. Finally, the Formula 2 will still be there in this new opus. The game will be available on several platforms: PS5, PS4, XBOX Series and PC.
