This is not denial. The Viry staff has clearly understood that their 2026 engine will never find a place in a chassis Alpine. A car from their stable, we forget it a little quickly. There is no Viry on one side and enstone on the other, there is an entity that is now amputated from a member. This engine, the men and women of Viry created it in total collaboration with Enstone and to see it evolve in another chassis would obviously be heartbreaking, but at least it would be alive. Absolutely not, everything is possible ... and could save Cadillac time even if Renault Group no longer has an industrial agreement/partnership with General Motors. But a checkbook in dollars can allow almost anything in F1!

Anything can happen after all! Renault will run Mercedes, Toyota would run Haas with a Ferrari engine, Ford under Red Bull Powertrains, so why not Cadillac/Andretti with a rebadged Renault original block!?

Partnership(s) to be set up to reduce the cost of developing the 2026 engine, useful only for 4 seasons, why not? Who will invest in such an engine given the current image of an engine manufacturer?Alpine when no F1 player has used the current block and none has opted for the block Alpine 2026? Maybe Cadillac by selling him the intellectual property while keeping the monitoring unit working!
