Update on team developments in Miami

@DPPI

Red Bull brings slight changes to its floor, particularly to the aerodynamic elements located at the front. The "fences" have been redesigned to extract a slight gain in load while maintaining the same flow stability. The edges of the floor are also more raised to improve airflow.

For its part, Mercedes modifies its rear wing, notably the inclination of the flap, which aims to reduce local downforce and drag, according to an efficiency slope adapted to the Miami circuit. This wing is specific to the Florida circuit.

The British ofAston Martin do not bring major changes to Miami, but like Mercedes, they will be equipped with adapted rear wings. With a reduced frontal area and less aggressive profiles, the AMR25's wings will be less loaded than the previous version to achieve the desired drag range.

The single-seaters of Fernando Alonso et Lance stroll will also feature a redesigned front wing, with less aggressive profiles. This flap is less loaded in order to reduce the amount of downforce at the front, in proportion to the rear wings generally used at a lower level on this circuit.

On the side ofAlpine, Fernando Alonso's former team, the front brake ducts and suspensions have been changed. These developments are not planned exclusively for Miami and will remain in place in the following weeks, where they should bring performance to the French team. At Sauber, the front suspensions have also been redesigned.

Williams brings an evolution to its "beam wing," the lower rear wing that frames the diffuser. This new part works with the main rear wing to reduce downforce and drag, and thus gain top speed on the long straights of the Florida circuit, which has just been extended on the calendar until 2041.
The other four stables – McLaren, Ferrari, Haas and Racing Bulls – are not changing anything on their single-seaters this weekend.
