No rest for the train Formula 1. A week after Bahrain, the paddock set up its base camp 1 kilometers further on the Saudi Arabian side for the 500e Consecutive Grand Prix.
A little over 3 and a half months after its first edition, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is already back. This time, the stakes are lower than the fight for the title between Max Verstappen et Lewis Hamilton which kept everyone in suspense. However, this trip on the Jeddah Corniche promises to be full of spectacle with the first very high speed test of the new Formula 1 cars.
As usual, this new race weekend will be structured around 3 free practice sessions scheduled between Friday and Saturday before qualifying and the Grand Prix on Sunday. The three hours of testing went to the championship leader, Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).
In addition to Formula 1, fans on the Jeddah urban track will be able to enjoy the F2. The category will indeed compete for its 2e rank meeting after launching its season seven days ago in Bahrain.
