La F1 is back at full speed in 2024! Less than a week after the first round of the season in Bahrain, won by Max Verstappen, the paddock travels to Jeddah for the 2024 Saudi Arabian GP (March 7-9), the second Grand Prix of the championship.

Introduced to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021, the Jeddah Corniche circuit is one of the fastest urban tracks of the season (around 250 km/h on average), with long straights, numerous fast curves and three DRS zones. The 6,174 kilometer route is also the second longest on the calendar, after Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). Like Bahrain, the race will take place exclusively at night.

In 2024, it will be the third edition of the Saudi Arabian GP. On the current grid, three drivers have already won in Jeddah: Lewis Hamilton (2021) Max Verstappen (2022) and Sergio Pérez (2023). The race lap record was set by the seven-time British world champion in 2021, with a time of 1'30″734.

In Saudi Arabia, Max Verstappen will try to knock out the competition once again, having easily won in Bahrain for the opening of the 2024 championship. The Dutchman will however have to be wary of his teammate Sergio Pérez, reigning winner in Jeddah and master of urban circuits. Ferrari et Mercedes will also be keen to titillate the Red Bull this weekend after the crushing defeat against the Austrian team in Sakhir.

F2 – Saudi Arabian GP 2024 – Program

In parallel with the F1 Grand Prix, the F2 is also continuing its season in Saudi Arabia. This will be the fourth GP of the discipline on the Jeddah circuit, which has seen drivers like Oscar piastri in 2021, Liam Lawson or Felipe Drugovich in 2022, or even Frederik Vesti last year. The lap record is 1'40"422 set during qualifying two years ago by Felipe Drugovich.

After a perfect weekend, Zane Maloney will try to continue his momentum and assert himself as one of the title contenders. As for the French, Victor Martins will hope to return to the fight for victory after a first round in Bahrain far from the mark and Isack Hadjar will want to maintain his speed from last week while having a little more success on the track.

Hello everyone, is F1TV access interesting compared to C+? I'm hesitating between the 2 to be honest... Thank you for your feedback. Good race !
