Usually organized during the last weekend of August in recent years, the Belgian Grand Prix marks the end of the paddock vacation. This year, the resumption of the season in the Ardennes is highly anticipated since the battle for first place in the championship between Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and his dolphin Max Verstappen (Red Bull) rages.

The Englishman, back in charge since Hungary at the end of July, is aiming for a fifth success this season to take off while the Dutchman wants to make up for it after two last unlucky outings. Enough to envisage a new battle between the two men in the Belgian slide.

Winner of the last round before the break, Esteban Ocon (Alpine) wants to take advantage of the good momentum to definitively launch its season. Back in the Top 10 of the ranking thanks to his first career success, the Norman hopes to follow up with another good result to continue to make an impression.

On the spectacle side, the Belgian Grand Prix weekend will begin on Friday with the two one-hour free practice sessions (11:30 a.m. and 15 p.m.). The drivers will then have another 60 minutes of driving time on Saturday morning before qualifying. The start of the race will be given on Sunday at 15 p.m.
