After three years of waiting, the Singapore Grand Prix is finally back! Canceled for the last two seasons due to the international health crisis, the meeting in the streets of the city-state will return to the paddock this weekend for its 13the edition, the first since 2019.
Highly anticipated, the Singapore Grand Prix is a great challenge for all drivers. In addition to driving mainly at night, it puts the players in the paddock to the test with difficult climatic conditions due in particular to the very high humidity in the region. Thus, the drivers follow a very special preparation for this Singapore round with training imitating local conditions in order to facilitate their acclimatization upon their arrival.
Regarding the action on the track, the Singapore Grand Prix weekend will begin on Friday noon (French time) with the first free practice session which will take place at the end of the day on site. You will have to wait until the second session scheduled for 15:00 p.m. (French time) to see the drivers driving at night in the Singaporean streets. Qualifying will take place on Saturday under floodlights (15:00 p.m. French time) just like the race, brought forward by one hour (14:00 p.m.), on Sunday.
