After two years of absence due to this famous health crisis, Interlagos and Brazil reunite this weekend with the entire universe Formula 1. Small particularity this year, the Brazilian meeting will be the last of the three Sprints on the program of this first experiment led by Ross Brawn and Liberty Media.
Sprint Race obliges, the format will be somewhat different this weekend. The drivers will only have one hour of driving before tackling qualifying on Friday at the end of the day.
The Sprint Race will take place on Saturday, also at the end of the day, after the second and final free practice session. This is scheduled from 20:30 p.m. to 21 p.m. and will take place over 100 kilometers. It will then determine the starting grid for the São Paulo Grand Prix the next day and the first three will score points with 3 for the winner, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. The start of the Grand Prix will be at 18:00 p.m.
