The new intro of the F1
Liberty Media has changed its intro sequence for TV broadcasts. Each driver is presented as well as their nationality, from Robert Kubica to Lewis Hamilton.
Internet users quickly got hold of it and replaced Bryan Tyler's music with marshmallowy TV series songs. Here is an example with telenovela music, posted on Reddit:
On Twitter, @Burgrid7 inserted the song from Les Feux de l'amour, which highlights the look of the 20 pilots even better:

Other clever people have completely modified the inscriptions in the video. Daniil Kvyat is nicknamed “Torpedo” (given by Sebastian Vettel following an accident at the 2016 Russian GP), Kimi Räikkönen is called "Bwoah" (the Finn's favorite onomatopoeia in interviews), among other things. Valtteri Bottas is none other than the “Porridge Boss”, the winner of the race having explained in a conference that he had tasted this dish before putting on his wetsuit!

Australian support for Daniel Ricciardo
Like Mark Webber in the 2000s, Daniel Ricciardo is the star of an entire country. His Italian-sounding name (his father was born in the country of Leonardo da Vinci) is nevertheless unorthodox in Aussie culture. This 5-year-old child gently got his brushes mixed up and explained that he supported “Daniel Avocado” on the microphone of a local TV.

F1 smelled a good marketing move and then invited the kid to the Albert Park paddock to meet Daniel Avocado (the real one). “Do you shave?” Are you going out a little? Do you go to a nightclub? », asked the pilot.
The Ricciardo incident
An Australian fan had the good idea to write on a sign “Ricciardo needs no wings” (Riccardo doesn't need wings), in reference to his unexpected departure from Red Bull. The slogan of the energy drink being " Red Bull gives you wings ", it was pretty well done! Except that the pilot Renault took this leitmotif literally, and exploded his wing at the start...
A memory of the GP not ordinary
A cap ? Not visible enough. A T-shirt ? Too common! This spectator wanted to take home a better memory of this Australian Grand Prix. What's better than a DRS sign in perfect condition in your garden? However, it was necessary to make a little space on the rear parcel shelf of the vehicle. “I managed to escape security with this ridiculously huge piece of the Australian GP”, boasted internet user AussieStig on Reddit.
The setbacks of Williams
The English team, which threatened Mercedes in 2014 with second place in the Manufacturers' championship, continues to fall in the hierarchy. George Russell and Robert Kubica are reduced to watching the leaders take several laps from them because of a car restive. On Twitter @MaxListerUK reacted to this collapse by parodying The Simpsons. Not sure that Paddy Lowe, sidelined at Mercedes then Williams, appreciate it!
