Schumacher's website for the 20th anniversary of his first title

Almost a year after the terrible skiing accident Michael Schumacher occurred in Méribel (Savoie), the website dedicated to the seven-time champion was relaunched to mark the 20th anniversary of his first world title acquired with Benetton won on November 13, 1994. With eight victories and two 2nd places in 14 starts, the German won with a single point lead against Damon Hill at the end of the Australian Grand Prix contested in Adelaide where the contact between the two contenders for the coronation will cause a lot of ink to flow.

The website features messages of support from Red Baron fans who have not been shy in their actions to support the German. “We still receive get-well messages for Michael every day and are still touched by this sympathy. We can only thank you for facing this fight together with him and us. We remain confident and wish the best for Michael. Your strength helps us support him,” the family commented on the site.
