Motorsport open to betting

The online gaming regulatory authority has published the list of sports affected by the law aimed at regulating sports betting on the internet. Several motorsport disciplines are part of it.

Arjel, the online gaming regulatory authority, has published the list of sports affected by the opening to competition of online betting. Among the fifteen “lucky ones”, motorsport is concerned. For the moment, only a few disciplines will be subject to online betting:
24 Hours of Le Mans
French Rally Championship
French GT Championship
World Championship Formula 1
indianapolis 500
Rounds of the European Championship Rallycross
Rounds of the 2010 World Rally Championship
Nascar
Rally Raid Dakar Rally
Andros Trophy

Among these motorsport disciplines, different types of bets can be made:
Winner of the event (driver / team)
Championship winner (driver/team)
Event podium (driver/team)
Championship podium (3) (driver / team)
Championship standings (driver/team) (1st half)

The law, which was promulgated two weeks ago, should make it possible to legally regulate online sports betting from the beginning of June. L?Arjel specifies that the list of sports concerned can be completed over the next month.
